Let your gentleness be evident.
The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines “gentleness” as “the quality or state of being gentle; especially : mildness of manners or disposition.”
Gentleness is a firm hand with a faint touch. It is a tender, compassionate approach toward others’ weaknesses and impediments. A gentle person is truthful, kind and passionate.
Someone bumps into you at the grocery store, however, instead of shooting them an angry glance, you gracefully smile.
You’ve had a stressful day, but rather than possessing a short- tempered attitude, you pray that God will bless you with patience.
You never raise your voice, even when it seems permitted. You extend love and grace toward those around you.
This- this is gentleness in action. We are called to be gentleness in action.
Your genial smile may warm the heart of another. Your kind words might brighten the day of a friend or family member. You’ll never understand the impact that your attitude may have on someone, therefore, make sure your attitude is positive, even when you grow familiar with difficulty.
